If you've never made Kombucha before or even if you are a total pro I thought it would be fun to mix up some new flavours and help you create your very own signature Booch for the festive season.

Want to know your krauts from your kefirs, your scobys from your pro-b's? Intimidated by scary you-tube videos and fervent fermenters??! I want to show you how to make your own (edible!) kombucha and sauerkraut, moving on to other fermented foods with some exciting guest hosts through the year.

About the event

I am passionate about gut health and have devoted much time to finding out as much as I can about the links between this and brain health and inflammation in the body.  Fermented foods are one of the best ways of encouraging healthy microbes in our digestive tract but if you're new to them, it can be daunting knowing how to eat them - and even more so how to save a fortune and make your own.

I have a very relaxed approach.  My goal is to take the fear out and put the fun in.  I love gathering folk together and sharing our passion for good food and good health.

I know lots of people who I'd like to introduce to you who are experts in their field so will occasionaly have a special guest.

Classes are limited to 10 people.  Jars and bottles provided along with all the ingredients we will need for the night.

Please bring an apron (it's a messy business) and a mixing bowl big enough to get both hands in.
